Welcome to my portfolio

Andrew Deleavey

In the upcomming weeks and months, while I attend my first year of Game Design, I will be uploading projects that I have been working on in class and pieces I have put together on my spare time.

From the ground up

When your asked why you do what you do what answer do you give? I have had to answer that question many times and untill just recently I never had an answer that I was happy with. Since I got my first computer when I was 6 I always had an avid interest in them and the doors that they opened. At first all I wanted to do was work with computers because I knew them, and by the time I was in middle school I wanted to make games. I love playing games and the thought of building my own game intrigues me, however I have discovered a deeper reason to why I do what I do and that reason is a feeling. To be more specific it is the feeling of knowing I have created something that other people enjoy. To me turning a blank image, or developmennt enviroment into a work of art that captures the attention of other people is as rewarding a feeling as any.
